Lishon's bio

I started at NYU Langone Reproductive Specialist of NY as a Front Desk Associate temp in January of 2021.

After four (4) months of training in Mineola I was asked to relocate to the Brooklyn office which was close to home and an opportunity for full time employment (FTE).  In that same year I saw a posting for Medical Assistant and immediately sent my resume to the appropriate party. After doing my interviews I was told a Medical Assistant Certification was needed. I didn’t take the response as a disappointment but instead encouragement to excel; so I researched schools close by the office to start my journey of obtaining a Medical Assistant Certificate. In February of 2022 I got enrolled in Allen School for Health Sciences where I completed both theoretical, Clinical and three (3) months of internship at AG Urgent Care. Upon passing all my classes with exceptional grades, I decided to take the State Exam which I successfully passed. It melts my heart to see the gratifying look on a patient’s face along with their verbal expressions whenever they are satisfied with the care and services given.This is not just a job for me it is my passion to help people and make them happy with what I do.I have piloted an exciting journey in the medical field extending my knowledge and skills now into Post Opt after care. In this unique opportunity I will ensure the desired care and protocols are followed as directed; to provide a safe and speedy recovery. I look forward to provide the enhanced beautification that you all are waiting for.
